I smell burning plastic when I turn on my air fryer. Is that normal?

Before first use of any air fryer, we recommend that you rinse all accessories and set the unit to 350F for about 5 minutes. This will burn off any remaining residue left from the manufacturer. You may notice a slight plastic smell which will dissipate in a few minutes.
